11th Best In Conference!

We are improved over last week. With the 49-35 win over ISU in Ames, the Ags picked up their first conference win of the year, and the first of the Mike Sherman era. Jerrod Johnson led the way going 31-39 passing for 381 yds and 4 TDs. The defense still cannot stop anyone, but a win is a win and road wins are especially hard to come by. Congrats to the team and the coaches!

jerrod

jerrod had 4 TDs, great night for the RS Soph.

Also, I’d say we’re borderline 10th in the conf as bad as CU played against Mizzou. But I suppose the battle for 10th will be decided next weekend in CSTX.

CU

The shutout was their first shutout in something like 285 games. CU looks bad.

CU has a mobile QB

that is enough to concern me

I’m happy the game is at Kyle.

What's amusing...

…is that I am headed to the game Saturday with my friend, the CU alum. Today we mused via e-mail that we may be watching the worst season in both our alma mater’s history since we were in college. Nowhere to go but up, baby!

tell him to expect to see his team score

our defense has major issues with play-action and mobile QBs

CU also has two RBs who can give us trouble in Stewart and Scott

Well

somebody has to win. I do know that.

4 TDs passing 1 TD rushing

Any other week, in any other conference, 31-39, 381 yds, 5 total TDs (1 rushing TD) would be good for conference Offensive Player of the Week.

I don't know

Harrell had 5 TD passes, as did Daniel at Missouri. With the offensive explosion going on this weekend, I’m not sure if Johnson won’t be overlooked.

I made this comment to someone last night. I think your right about someone else getting the award. So I doubt he gets it, unless its Co-Offensive POW.
