Notes: At this point, I think worrying about bowl eligibility is pointless. We have not looked like a bowl team at any time so far this season. We just need to concentrate on getting better each week and improving as a team. A bowl game would be a miracle at this point.

I'm excited about the potential of Von Miller and Garrick Williams at linebacker. Both have the speed and athleticism to succeed at the position, but learning on the job is tough.

I think Josh Freeman is the most athletically-gifted QB we may face this season, from an athletic standpoint. I am hopeful we can run the ball well enough to keep their offense off the field, and let us control the tempo and flow of the game.

With the exception of our punting game, our special teams execution has been lacking. We don't tackle well, we take bad angles in pursuit, and we give up too many hidden yards in in the kick-off return game and kick-off game.

Freeman is good, but it would be hard to ignore Robert Griffin III, Baylor, or Colt McCoy—-hey don’t laugh…his is having a great year and is leading the whorns in rushing.

That said Freeman reminds me alot of D.McNabb

to alter a quote from the great Jim Mora….. Bowl game!?!?!

Griffin is still raw as a passer

and doesn’t possess the howitzer that Freeman has attached to his shoulder

Will it be on TV in the B/CS area?

might check KANM

I’m sure they’ll have it.

Other than that, I don’t see it listed anywhere.

Unless our game-planning improves...

…y’all won’t have to worry about stopping Freeman. Our coaches will do it for you.

We'll carry the banner high!

Freeman’s receivers stopped im last week.

Von Miller may move back to DE this off season along with Billy Chavis.

BTW, Colt McCoy is not nearly as athletically gifted as Freeman or Girffin. Girrin does not have the arm that Freeman does. Neither does McCoy. Colt McCoy should get a lot of credit for making himself into a very good college player. I don’t know if I would describe Colt McCoy as athletically gifted.

Obviously, I was referring to Ronnie Girffin and John Wayne Girrin in my previous reply. Ronnie Girffin was a star QB for the Devry Institue of Technology Patagonia, AZ campus. We all know John Wayne Girrin from his days leading Weber St. to the 1941 Salad Bowl. I hear Baylor has a pretty decent freshman QB named Robert Griffin also.

I want his football card. They don’t have it on ebay. Wonder where I can find more info on him?
