Tori Mellinger - Aggie VB commit

Last night, I had the chance to watch Tori Mellinger, Aggie commit and her Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas) volleyball team play against Dallas Skyline.

Mellinger, a 5-foot-9 senior, is an explosive outside hitter. I wonder what position she will play for Coach Corbelli (whoever the coach is next year if the current team doesn't start playing better), because collegiate volleyball is all about size and at 5'9" she will be undersized.

In no way do I claim to be an expert volleyball scout, but maybe what she will lack in size she makes up for in athleticism. Either way, the Aggie Volleyball has picked up another stellar young lady to compete for the Aggies.
