It was announced on the news this morning that T. Boone Pickens was putting his wind farms on hold. This has to be due to the $2 billion loss suffered by Pickens' hedge fund last quarter. He does not have the capital to sustain his wind farm project. The question is whether the rumors are true, and Pickens' $160 million donation to OSU was part of the losses in the fund. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
