Well, we're unranked in both polls, only showing up in the Others Receiving Votes area. Rankings don't matter yet, though, as we begin play in the second best sport in America, behind college football. If we win and take care of business, the rankings will take care of themselves.

We were picked by the coaches to finish 5th in the Big 12, so we have a chance to surprise everyone. We didn't have a single player recognized on the pre-season Big 12 all-conference team, so we're going to have to work for our recognition. We're going to have to build our case game by game and win by win. It all starts tomorrow with our game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Golden Lions already have one loss on the season, while this will be the season opener and home opener for the Aggies. A&M has won 46 straight non-conference home games, so hopefully we'll keep that streak going tomorrow.
