Giggity Giggity Giggity - Upset Saturday

I love watching Notre Dame lose. Seeing them lose to a horrible Syracuse team is even better. Seeing them lose AT HOME to a horrible Syracuse team led by lameduck coach Greg Robinson is simply priceless.

As someone who remembers watching Adrian Dantley play for the Mavericks, I was pleased to see his son, Cameron Dantley, lead Syracuse to a win over his father's alma mater. I personally can't remember the last time Notre Dame lost to a team that was a 19 1/2 point underdog at kickoff. I don't think last year's Navy team was even that much of an underdog.

Some of the Notre Dame students responded with utmost class to the upset, showering the Notre Dame players, coaches, and stadium police with snowballs.

Elsewhere, LSU lost for the second year in a row on Senior Night, both times to Houston Nutt-coached teams. Last season, Arkansas did the honors, beating the Tigers in triple overtime. Today, Ole Miss stunned 18th-ranked LSU, 31-13. Mississippi even scored one TD using their single wing Motion series, the "Wild Rebel". Markeith Summers had a 13 yd TD run from the formation. Mississippi takes home the Magnolia Trophy for 2008. Maybe LSU officials should have listened to Nick Saban when he said they should hire Houston Nutt to replace him after he left following the 2004 season.

Later tonight, the Oklahoma-Texas Tech game is on. We'll have to see if another upset is in the offing.

Les Miles has been exposed.

I always knew that Les Miles is a mediocre coach. He has been exposed. He is just a guy with some good quotes and a fake personality who had success as a result of Saban’s players. I love how people try to make excuses for why they suck this year. They say its because they have a freshman quarterback. That really isn’t a valid excuse anymore. Look at OU last year they won 10 games with a freshman quarterback. Texas the year before won 10 games with a freshman quarterback. If you have a young quarterback you hide him and limit him in the offense. Also, its not the quarterbacks fault that your “SEC Defense” gives up 31 to the offensive juggernauts of Troy and Ole Miss. Or gives up 50 plus to Georgia and Florida. He is also a terrible game manager as well. People like to give him credit for those fourth down gambles last year, but in reality he just got lucky. Alot of them were stupid calls that you really shouldn’t have gone for but he got away with it. Also, I will never forget that play against Auburn last year. I have never seen a team that had no clue as to what was going on. The coaching staff did not know what was going on. It was mass confusion, they got bailed out by a really lucky play. Also, I loved his quote “we were undefeated in regulation” when they backdoored into the National Championship game. What an idiot.

Amen about Notre Dame

I love to hate Notre Dame. Pear Bryant has been exposed as a terrible coach. I’m so sick of the hype they get and the national attention they get. Nobody else talks about a 6-5 unless its Notre Dame. Notre Dame hasn’t been relevant in about 20 years and yet people still love them.

If you didn’t have to have a winning record to go to a bowl game, bowls would chose an 0-12 Notre Dame team. I swear if they could do that they would.
