Congratulations To The Oklahoma Sooners
Congrats on your 61-21 victory over Missouri. Congrats on winning your sixth Big 12 Championship since 2000. Congrats on a likely berth in the Bowl Championship Series national championship game.
Sam Bradford, I hope you win the Heisman Trophy.
Please, Sooners, represent the Big 12 well in this year's BCS Championship Game. No more games where you lay eggs and embarrass the conference.
That is all.
Gig'em!!!

and whats ur deal with bradford?
i mean its not like he deserves it any more than mccoy. does he deserve it? yes! more than mccoy? no! they are both deserving. so why does it matter to you…..or is it the fact that colt is a longhorn?

I can give you 53 reasons Bradford deserves the Heisman
if texas was in a similar situation, I would be writing my own bible explaining how God doesn’t exist, b/c He would not do such a thing to me.

I hope OU gets blown out.
Until the last couple of weeks I really was impartial to OU. I really didn’t care about them or their coach. What Stoops has done the last two weeks really makes me mad. Its one thing to try and score with your backs up, its another to throw it deep when you are by 35 with four minutes left with your starters. Gary Pinkel took his starters out before Stoops did. Utter lack of class or respect for your opponent. This isn’t the NFL where everybody is on equal footing and its a business. These are kids we are talking about. I don’t have a problem with trying to score or run your offense, but at least do it with your back ups. This will bite Bob Stoops in the back soon. I guarantee it. No lack of class or respect for his opponent. Anybody that tries to defend what he did tonight is a brainless moron and clueless. You can’t defend it. He also did it last week as well. He was up by 10 or 13, I believe, with 30 seconds left and OSU had one time out and he decided to run a play. Just kneel the fucking ball. Kneel the ball and leave.

well
I don’t have a problem with trying to score or run your offense, but at least do it with your back ups.
When OU made their last score against Oklahoma State, they had run the ball four times straight in the series, and the final TD was off a 26 yd run by Chris Brown, who is the backup to DeMarco Murray. So, Stoops was running the ball, and had his backups in. If Okie State didn’t want them to score again (and I’ve heard no complaints from OSU about Stoops running up the score, just righteous indignation from you), they should have stopped them.
As for Stoops keeping his starters in late in the game against Missouri, two things: 1) They were trying to set a record, and I have no issue with them going for that. If you have a chance to make history, take it. 2) Mossis Madu, who scored the record-setting TD, is a third stringer. Once again, your indignation is misplaced.

Im sorry but...
Last night Madu was a second stringer, as Murray was gone. Secondly a deep ball by Bradford with 4 minutes left in the game is just a class act by Stoops.

second string is still a backup player
as for the deep ball, they wanted to make history. I don’t see a problem with that.

chris brown
may be a second stringer on paper but he has more carries than murray. if anything they are co-starters in a rotation.

He was running up the damn score
You, I and everybody else knows that he was running up the score. Stop trying to pretend he wasn’t. He was. Stoops baiscally admitted he did at the end to. “We are going to "play hard” till the end." It was blatant running up the score.

Didn’t the final TD come on a running play? Bob may have tried on the long pass to add that final score, but I am of the opinion he said let’s try one long one and see if it hits. If not, we’ll just run it out. The play didn’t hit, so they went to the run. And boom. TD. Record.
