Quarterback Quandary
I admit to being disappointed in Sherman's decision to start Stephen McGee against Army. I know McGee has the experience and has been the unquestioned leader of this team for the past two years, but his poise in the pocket when it comes to the passing game is lacking. For whatever reason, he seems so afraid of making a turnover that he waits too long to make a play, and too often the result is him throwing the ball out of bounds, or a sack.
Jerrod Johnson shows better poise in the pocket, and has thrown for 7 TDs in the last 3 games. Johnson is young, so it isn't always pretty because he makes mistakes, but I think he gives us the best chance to win right now. He is the future of this team, and should be starting.
McGee re-injuring his shoulder Saturday may have made the decision easier for Sherman for now, but one wonders what will happen when he becomes healthy again.

Definitely Johnson
I think we should put everything on Johnson. yes, that means a dismal year this year, but hopefully he will be better next year for it…
