Motion Offense Is Not The Problem, According To Turgeon
Mark Turgeon says our problems on offense are not due to his motion offense. He says he has made some adjustments to account for the talents of our players:
Turgeon said the Aggies’ offensive woes — they rank last in the Big 12 in field-goal percentage (.437) — has nothing to do with the switch to his motion offense from the high-low post A&M played under former coach Billy Gillispie.“Nah,” he said. “I’ve given in so much to these guys (in) trying to make it easier for them. It has nothing to do with what we’re running. It just has to do with being willing to work a little bit harder to get a better shot for our team and doing what you’re supposed to do.”
Turgeon also is looking at possibly changing up our starting line-up heading into the Baylor game on Wednesday.
Turgeon wouldn’t be specific on who might go to the bench, but he did mention the Aggies need more production out of their so-called “big three” — guard Donald Sloan, wing Josh Carter and forward Bryan Davis.
“It’s frustrating,” Turgeon said. “We might have to change the starting lineup or do something different.”
I wouldn't mind seeing more of Dash Harris at home, and moving Sloan to the 2 so we can take the pressure off him of having to run the whole offense through him. I also think that Junior Elonu and B.J. Holmes showed that they deserve more playing time against Oklahoma State.
I'd start the Baylor game with a line-up of Harris, Sloan, Davis, Elonu, and Carter. Holmes is the first sub off the bench for Carter, if Carter doesn't get going early. Loubeau subs in for Davis, because I want our post game to hammer Baylor inside.

nice
I like your starting lineup. Davis is always excellent, Junior gives us that extra inside force. Holmes is ready to attack if anyone gets tired or slacks off on shooting. We need to start winning if we’re going to go anywhere.
