Debauchery And Hedonism Tour - Day 2
Our game review of the Independence Bowl will be up later.
The I Am The 12th Man crew woke up at 8 AM after a smooooooth four hours of sleep, because scientific studies have proven that you gamble better and party harder on less sleep. Who are we to argue with science? We headed to the Horseshoe to meet with the other half of our crew, gambled a little, and then went to lunch. We left the Horseshoe for the Independence Bowl at around 1:30, giving us over two hours to fight traffic to get into the game. Traffic was a little slow getting through to the parking entrance, but we made it with plenty of time to walk around before the game and take in the atmosphere. One member of our crew never showed up to the game; we surmised he was lost into the arm of some Georgia women of questionable repute, and drove on.
Following the game, the crew headed back to the Horseshoe to commence gambling once again. We arrived starving for dinner, and found that the staffing problems in the restaurants still hadn't improved. Despite the fact that all of the hotels around the Boardwalk have been sold out for almost a month, these casinos don't have the staff numbers, especially in the restaurants, to handle the demand. We waited for thirty minutes to move two spaces up in line to be seated, but we were able to eat. After dinner, we headed back to the craps tables to continue our onslaught, and bring the casino to its knees. Unfortunately, they took back a small piece of our bankroll, but we are still up for the trip.
On the way back to our hotel, some nefarious Georgia fan attempted to assassinate our crew on the highway but running us off the road, but some heroic driving by our crew chauffeur kept everyone alive and safe. The would-be assassins remain at large, but they will be found and dealt with, oh yes they will.
Day 3 update coming tomorrow.
