Reaction From Tech Players

Some of the current Tech players are happy that Leach has been fired. Does not surprise me as it always seemed to me that most of the Tech players put up with Leach's flakiness because he was such a great offensive coach.

Might I add that those are players that didn’t produce and therefore never had much playing time.

you just know that adam’s must have been liked by someone out of the what, 86 man roster? 100+ with scout? i’m not sure on the #s. at any rate, someone should like james, and i’m sure he’s got his little clique of rebellious “fuck the coaches for not playing us and recognizing our talent” douches who think TT is better off without Leach than with him.

yup, no arguments here

That was the case initially

There have been some who have played a lot and who are starters who are ready to put the whole thing behind them and move on to the next steps in their time as college football players.

Leach could have avoided all of this by allowing James to transfer to SMU

by miketag on Jan 2, 2010 9:12 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

The admin was not going to transfer with him.

Leach has a policy.

No transfers in state once you have attended school in Lubbock, therefore making it impossible for James to transfer.

I thought transferring was up to the player

What power does the coach have on a player transferring?

by ReggieVilma on Jan 12, 2010 8:15 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

That's just what I've read.

I have no idea what power the coach has.

Personally, I think that James is the biggest pussy EVER! So the coach put him in a shed… Big fucking deal, for crying out loud he took his damn cell phone in there, probably to call his mommy or better yet his espn daddy! I am glad as an Ag to see Leach get fired, because that was the best thing to happen to tech football since… well I don’t know (Zack Thomas). Anyway Leach was a top notch lawyer before becoming a coach and I bet he will make tt drop their pants and run backwards through a cornfield before he is through with them. As far a a coach, they should hire the WR coach who intermed during the bowl game and pay him with adaboys!!!

Just when I thought tech couldn’t get any more ridiculous, they have not ceased to amaze me!

Leach never worked as a lawyer

so saying he “was a top notch lawyer before becoming a coach” is false.
