What has changed since the last time we played Tech? Well, they blew out the conference champions, Kansas, in their final home game, with senior Alan Voskuil going crazy from behind the line, putting up 39 points in his last game in Lubbock. Voskuil and PG John Roberson are still the offensive keys to this team; if we can control them and make Tech rely on their inside game to beat us, we win this game.

Like our previous two match-ups, I think we have the advantage inside against Tech with Elonu/Davis/Loubeau, so we need to continue to work it inside and press our advantage. Loubeau has come on big as of late, so I expect him to receive some real minutes in this game. However, Elonu has been struggling in his last few games, and we need him to step it up if we're going to get far in the post-season.

I am also anxious to see if we're going to continue to see offensive improvement from Dash Harris. We keep seeing flashes from him, especially in the last few games, that show he has the potential to be a game-changing type of player for us, but he hasn't put it altogether yet. This would be as good a time as any for him to come up big for us.

I really don't see Tech being able to stop our inside-outside game, especially if Carter/Holmes/Sloan/Walkup are hot from the outside, but this is a one-and-done format. Tech knows their chances of playing another game depend on winning tomorrow, so they are going to be playing with a sense of desperation, and a desperate team can be a dangerous team. We just need to take care of business, and we'll be fine.
