I haven't seen much of Colorado this season, who has been firmly entrenched at the bottom of the conference standings.I watched part of the second half of their loss to Baylor, enough to realize it was a horrific display of 'basketball' by both teams, and change the channel.

I think in some ways, Colorado is similar to Missouri last season, in that they are still a young team trying to find a way to win games. From what little I watched, it is obvious the coaching is there, because they were moving the ball around and getting open shots and opportunities to score, so their offensive scheme is strong, and they are executing it. What was lacking was the ability to finish a play; I saw a lot of missed shots and missed layups, and making a layup is a simple fundamental skill.

The Aggies will be playing Colorado on the road, where we have now won three straight games in conference. I expect Colorado to come out fast, and while we might start slowly, I think we should win this game.

We need to control Cory Higgins and Dwight Thorne II; if we can do that, we should be okay. I will be watching our rotation on defense, because I look at this game as a precursor to the kind of effort I expect to see on Saturday against Missouri.

I am most interested in seeing how Josh Carter plays against Colorado. I expect the Buffalo defense to concentrate on shutting him down. After the game-winning shot against Nebraska, and the career-high 29 points he scored against Iowa State, I want to see if Carter is capable of carrying this team on his back into the post-season. We'll know the answer to that question tomorrow after the Colorado game is over.

This is a W.

I’m not even remotely worried about this game, a victory is as sure as tomorrow being Wednesday.

Don't hate 'cause you can't duplicate.

I hope the players don’t feel the same as you. If they look ahead and assume they’re gonna win (like texas did a few weeks ago) they could be heartbroken, and I can’t imagine us taking down Missouri after a loss like that. But if we continue to play with our backs against the wall and DO win, it’ll only help boost our chances for Saturday.

Colorado took texas to overtime

and was ahead of Baylor with 8:30 left in their game.

Nothing is guaranteed; this is March, and every game and every minute matters now.
