Aggies Lose Slugfest To OU, 6-5

The Ags dropped a 6-5 decision to Oklahoma last night, despite hitting four home runs on the night. All eleven runs of the game were scored via the longball.

Brooks Raley suffered his second loss of the year, giving up 9 hits, 6 runs and a walk, while striking out 3 in 6 innings of work.

Kevin Gonzalez led the Aggies with two home runs, while Kyle Colligan and Luke Anders hit the other two.

The Ags fall to 34-19 on the season, 14-11 in Big 12 play.

Of greater concern to me is the fact we lost a game we really needed to win, for postseason seeding reasons. We need to win this series if we want to ensure we host a regional, and we've just made it a lot harder on ourselves.

We play OU agan tonight at 6:30; we need to sweep these next two games so we can go into the postseason on an up note.
