Ross Hales Dominates, Ags Win 3-0, Tie Series
Freshman Ross Hales threw a complete game, three-hit shutout to utterly dominate texas in a 3-0 win for the Aggies in Austin. Hales had 9 strikeouts and no walks in his first career complete game.
Kyle Colligan had a solo home run in the 4th inning, and Brodie Greene had a two-RBI single in the 5th to give the Aggies all of their runs for the day.
The win breaks the 10 game regular season win streak texas had over A&M, and gives Rob Childress his first regular season win over texas. More importantly, the Aggies move to 33-17 on the season, and 14-9 in Big 12 play. The loss drop texas to 35-12-1 and 16-9-1 in conference play. If the Aggies can somehow win tomorrow, they can move one step closer to winning the Big 12 Conference championship in baseball for the second season in a row.
