texas DE Sergio Kindle Misses Retirement Home, Hits Apartment Instead

Apparently, Sergio Kindle was involved in a car accident Wednesday morning. Kindle's lawyer is claiming the accident happened at 1:50 a.m. (see story here). Given the apparent timing of this accident, and given Kindle's past (he has been arrested for DWI before, causing him to serve a three-game suspension), alcohol might have been a factor in this accident.

Kindle and his lawyer can claim he was texting on his phone all he wants; sober people don't hit buildings. This reminds me of former Washington TE Jerramy Stephens, who got drunk and drove into a retirement home one night. Guess Kindle dodged the retirement home, but the apartment building didn't move aside fast enough.

It'll be interesting to see what Mack Brown does about this incident, if anything.

miketag and wishiwasalonghorn can probably give us a good idea if Kindle is at least guilty of leaving the scene of an accident, or anything like that.

update

now it was just the exterior wall of the building

This is why they call it journalistic bias.

Typical.

i’m confused what you’re upset about, it’s not like this was a Jon Woo directed high speed car chase in which Sergio Kindle drives himself through a building in an attempt to fly 130ft landing on a highway and allowing him to escape the Chinese Triad… no, he hit the exterior of the building…

update

here

I like how they call his hangover “a concussion”.

“He knew he was hurt at the time and that he needed to go home and go to bed,” Roark said.

Translation: He was drunk, and knew he needed to get the hell outta Dodge.

Don't know if Mack can suspend him

for more than a couple of games since it can’t be “Proven” that alcohol was involved. But seriously, he needs a smack in the back of the head.

BTW not too many post-ers on here huh? I figured a post like this would have the aggies foaming at the mouth…….
