Experience The Spirit: Coach Sherman On The Wrecking Crew
This is the second part of a ten part "Experience The Spirit" series that Coach Sherman is doing to market the football program.
In 2003, one of the few things Carl Torbush did that I agreed with was telling the players on defense they couldn't call themselves the Wrecking Crew until they earned it. In 2004, he said he wouldn't tell the players if they earned the right to be the Wrecking Crew; Aggie fans would tell them that.
At the end of this video, Coach Sherman echoes this sentiment, and it is one I agree with. When we are truly back to playing the Wrecking Crew style of defense, the players will know it because the fans will let them know it.

good post
at the very least, I think we all can agree that Sherman is publicly doing the right things (accessible, walks around campus, involves/encourages the players to get involved in other aspects of campus life). we all hope he does the right things on the field.
good off-season bull for Coach Sherm, now let’s show some progress between the sidelines.

It always made me laugh that Torbush felt that he could let the players know. What the he’ll did he know about the WC? He wasn’t here when we had it rolling. Torbush was and is a clown.
