The Mackey Award is given annually to the nation's top TE, and while I'm a little leery of this award after watching it go to Missouri's Chase Coffman over Oklahoma's Jermaine Gresham in 2008,it is nice to see McCoy receive some recognition.

Barring a miracle, there is no way Gresham doesn't win this award in 2009, which is fitting because he is the best college tight end to play since Kellen Winslow Jr. was at Miami.
