Monday Thoughts
- The softball team finished the Kajikawa Classic at 4-1, with wins over #11 California, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Cal State-Northride, and their only loss coming to #5 Arizona State. Not a bad start to the season. Looks like we are showing the early makings of a top 25 team.
- We play #1 Kansas tonight at 8 p.m. in a nationally televised game on Big Monday on ESPN. The live gamethread will be up later. There really isn't much to preview with Kansas; they are very good, and we'll need to play our best game of the season against them. My biggest concern with Kansas is Cole Aldrich being able to control things inside; we'll need big games from Bryan Davis, David Loubeau, and Ray Turner to keep him out of the paint, and keep Kansas from playing inside-out. The game is looking like it will be a sellout, so hopefully the students will get Reed rocking, and push our team to victory
- Only four more days until our season-opener in baseball against Seton Hall on Friday. Time to begin the journey with this Aggie baeball team, and see if they have what it takes to make it to Omaha and win the College World Series.
