Aggies Beat Down 'sips, 74-58.

Donald Sloan had 19 points and David Loubeau had 15 points and 7 rebounds as the Aggies beat down texas at Reed Arena, 74-58. The Ags held texas to 23 points in the first half, their lowest scoring output in a half this season. Key to the game was that we outrebounded the 'sips 40-29, including 16-12 on the offensive rebounds. We won the second chance points today. The Aggies used an aggressive defense to hold texas to 37% shooting from the floor. Keying our effort and ourt energy was Ray Turner, who had a career-high 9 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Loubeau

I’m loving that they are intentionally giving Loubeau touches. He has been, IMO, one of the most improved this season in the Big 12. From role player to nearly #2 scoring option. Him and Davis are pretty close in offensive production. It’s also helping us prepare for next season when we lose Davis and Sloan. We’ll at least know where the leading offensive play will come from next year after losing the leader next year.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
