Ags In Search Of New OC

According to Billy Liucci, Nolan Cromwell has accepted a position with the St. Louis Rams and will not be returning to Aggieland. The Aggies will begin a search for a new OC immediately. Former A&M WR coach and Tulsa and Louisville HC Steve Kragthorpe has been contacted. This is Mike Sherman's offense and I expect to see one of the top 10 offenses in the nation on the field again next year. I am very confident that Sherman will hire a capable OC for A&M. I wish Cromwell all the best in St. Louis.

I really hope

for y’alls sake that the Krag1N1 virus doesn’t infest College Station like he did Louisville.

Get off your knees Greg, you're blowin' the game.

He was our WR coach when we won the Big 12. He is also a he’ll of a nice guy. We could do a lot worse.

Coaching Changes

On Thursday it was reported that A&M let go of Kirk Doll (LB coach) and Van Malone (DB coach). Word is that DeRuyter may coach safeties himself (and maybe all DBs). Guess he’s cleaning some house so he can bring in his own staff.

Haven’t seen anything official on the defensive coaches being released, nor Cromwell taking an OC spot in the NFL.

McMillan is going to help in the secondary. Ibelieve he is going to coach safeties and CBs. My understanding is we may get two LB coaches, one for ILB and one for OLB. Hope we get Dat or Rollins

I read that too, and that A&M has contacted both Nguyen and Rollins. Will be interesting to see what happens.
