Aggies Defeat Utah State Celebration Thread

The Aggies defeat Utah State, 69-53, as Khris Middleton went 5-6 from beyond the arc, and scored 19 points, David Loubeau had 14, and Donald Sloan added 10 points. The Aggies were able to use their early success from beyond the arc to build a lead, and solid defense afterwards to keep the Utah Aggies at bay.

This win makes the 5th first round win in a row for the Aggies; the only other team to win a first round game in the NCAA Tournament every year for the last 5 years is Pittsburgh.

We will face Purdue on Sunday for the right to go to the Sweet Sixteen.

This is your celebration thread.

Just a great win

Really impressed with our margin of victory considering we did not go to the line much. Middleton has had 5 good games in a row. Let’s get by Purdue and bring it back to Houston!

exited and proud....

Just want to thank these guys for the hard work stepping up the program like they have for the last 5 seasons. I cant wait to watch A&M beat the hell out of Purdue! I will be sporting my old maroon out shirt while I am working offshore amongst all the brits and their soccer uni’s. Thanks guys!

Congrats on a very solid performance today

Hopefully our game on Sunday is a good one. Your size and athleticism scares me, but if we play like we did in the second half today, it should be fun.

5 years in a row.

That says a lot about where our program is. I feel like if we can make it to the sweet 16, beating Duke won’t seem too impossible, especially in Houston.

This March Madness stuff makes me nervous!

If you beat us

I will definitely root 4 you to wipe that rat faced (Whatever it is) off of Coach K’s face.

A Boilermaker in Lubbock

Hi all-

Congrats on your win. You play us next and it will be a nail biter. You guys are tough and we are as well. Should be a down to the wire game. Anyway- I live in Lubbock but just can’t get behind the Red Raiders. I mean they are ok and everything- but tomorrow we are playing real B ball.

Should be an entertaining game. Good luck to Purdue and here’s to a competitive, safe game.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
