#14 Aggie Women Run Past #11 OU On Senior Night, 78-55

The #14 Aggie women's basketball team trampled #11 Oklahoma, 78-55. Adaora Elonu had a double-double, with 17 points and 10 rebounds, senior Tanisha Smith had 19 points in her final home game, and junior Danielle Adams had 18 points with 7 rebounds to help put away the Sooners.

The Aggies led by 19 at halftime, and never let the Sooners get within 10 points after that. A stifling Aggie defense forced 21 Sooner turnovers, and held Oklahoma to 0-8 shooting from beyond the arc.

This was the fifth win in a row for the Lady Ags over Oklahoma at Reed Arena. This was a terrific win for the seniors, as they were sent off the right way at home, with a dominating win. The Aggies will close out their regular season schedule with a game at Kansas on Saturday.
