Aggie Baseball Defeats Oklahoma State In 10 Innings, 5-3
Kenny Jackson broke a 3-3 tie with a two-out double that scored both baserunners in the top of the 10th inning, giving the Aggies a 5-3 lead over Oklahoma State. John Stilson closed out the 10th inning, giving him his 7th win of the season.
Joe Patterson (3-5, 1 R), Adam Smith (1-3, 2 R, 2 RBIs), and Kevin Gonzalez (2-4, 1 RBI) helped lead the Aggie offense. Starting pitcher Ross Stripling went 7 1/3 innings, a career high for him, giving up 8 hits and 3 earned runs. Stilson gave up 2 hits and 1 walk in his 2 2/3 innings of relief to earn the win.
With the win, the Aggies have won their third weekend series in a row (Nebraska, Dallas Baptist, and now OSU), and again try for their first series sweep of the season tomorrow.
