Aggie Baseball Defeats OSU 6-1, Completes Sweep
The Aggies earned their first sweep of the 2010 season as they took down Oklahoma State today, 6-1. Michael Wacha earned the win, going a season-high eight innings while giving up one earned run on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.
Offensively, the Aggies were led by Brodie Greene (3-4, 2 RBIs, double, HR), Matt Juengel (2-4, 2 RBIs, double, HR), and Andrew Collazo (1-3, RBI). John Stilson earned the final three outs of the game on three pitches in the bottom of the ninth inning.
With the win, the Aggies move to 33-18-1 on the season, 12-11-1 in conference play, and are guaranteed a spot in the Big 12 Baseball Championship.
This victory gives A&M their first sweep ever of Oklahoma State in Stillwater, and their second sweep of OSU in conference play (1999).
The Aggies finish their season this week with games against texas-Arlington, and then a conference series against Kansas State.
