Aggies Defeat Dartmouth, 4-3, Advance To Regional Championship
The Aggies took down Dartmouth, 4-3, in a game delayed for over an hour due to rain. Joe Patterson and Kevin Gonzalez hit home runs in the 8th and 9th innings, respectively, to give A&M the winning margin.
The Aggis gave up three unearned runs on a bases-loaded error in the fourth inning to give Dartmouth their first lead of the game, 3-2. If the Aggies were not struggling with fielding for the second game in a row, this game would have gone a lot more smoothly.
John Stilson earned the win, getting six strikeouts over three innings of work.
The Aggies now face host Miami in the Regional Championship Game, which is going on right now. If the Aggies win, they force a second game against Miami tomorrow.
