Big 12 Media Days - Texas A&M
Head coach Mike Sherman will address the assembled Big 12 media, and the players present representing A&M are Jerrod Johnson, Von Miller, and Lucas Patterson. I'm a little disappointed we didn't bring any offensive linemen along, because I like seeing leadership from the big guys up front. I'm hopeful we'll get something notable, but so far, this media day has been relatively uneventful.

someone tries to lead Sherman to say the Big 12 is becoming more RB dominant, Sherman doesn't agree
says we lost some great QBs, but there are players waiting in the wings to take over
further proof the Big 12-2 is run by Texas..
“we heard Texas is going to be more RB dominant, how do you feel about the Big 12-2 becoming more RB dominant?”

Sherman says when he took the A&M job and hired Reggie Herring, he wanted to install the 3-4 defense
when Herring took the Dallas Cowboy LB job, he brought in Kines, who did a terrific job under trying circumstances, but isn’t a 3-4 guy
now they're interviewing Jerrod
he is comfortable with Luke Joeckel, said it is almost like having a sophomore there
well, I only caught part of the interview with Von before the stream froze
Von says we’ve had a smooth transition to the 3-4, and DeRuter is incredibly knowledgeable about the defense
