Aggie Volleyball Dominated By #23 LSU, Swept In Three Matches

The Aggie volleyball team was dominated by LSU, getting swept in three matches, 25-9, 25-17, 25-22. Kelsey Black led the Aggies with 12 kills and 3 aces on the day. I noted yesterday that we seemed to start slowly in our matches with Siena and Pacific, a habit which we seemed to have briefly quashed with an early 2-0 lead today. Then 7 kills by LSU and 3 errors by A&M led to a 10-4 lead for the Tigers, and they never looked back. Our only consolation is that in the third set we played almost even with them, tying the match at 22-22 before two kills by LSU and an attack error by Kelsey Black gave them their final winning margin.

The Aggies next opponent is Sam Houston State on Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
