I Am The 12th Man Weekly Radio Show - Episode XLII Is In The Books

We had a terrific show as wishiwasalonghorn and I discussed realignment, realignment, and more realignment. We talked about the political hurdles A&M is maneuvering now as we continue on our way to the SEC, the effect A&M leaving the big 12 will have on the conference, the economic effects A&M's departure will have on the economies in Lubbock and Waco, and why the politicians should have no say in this matter.

We also discussed the addition of our new commitments last week, and what they mean for our class so far, and the positions we have left to fill in our recruiting class. We also discussed the potential for future programming on school networks, and why the NCAA will be wise to make a decision now to eliminate the option for high school broadcasts.

We had a terrific show, as miketag and I talked extensively about conference realignment, and what it would mean for A&M if we joined the SEC. wishiwasalonghorn joined us, and gave us the texas perspective on everything. We also discussed what it would mean for texas if they went independent, and how they could use the scheduling model perfected by Miami before they went to the Big East and Florida State before they joined the ACC to feature themselves as a national title contender. We also briefly discussed recruiting, and the addition of Kohl Stewart to the 2013 recruiting class. We went over our time limit, and actually had a 45 minute show going before we were cut off. Good times.
